The reigning Italian champions are having a less than stellar season and are fighting for a spot in the European competitions. In their recent Serie A matches, Gian Piero Gasperini's team hasn't been particularly impressive. In fact, they haven't won in four consecutive league matches. However, it's important to consider the quality of their opponents during this stretch. Atalanta faced teams from the top four: Milan (1-1), Inter (0-4), Bologna (1-2), and Juventus (2-2). It's also worth noting that "The Goddess" successfully defeated Sporting Portugal in the Europa League.
